Back to Job Openings	Employment Opportunity Landscaper Start date April 2012   DUTIES/SKILLS: -Read landscape plans. -Ability to construct some or all :     *natural stone walkways, retaining walls and steps;      *paving brick patios, driveways;      *modular block walls and steps.       *grading and raking of aggregate and soils to establish grades;      * wooden garden features, decks, steps, arbours, trellises, etc.      *planting bed cultivation,      *weeding, edging and mulching;      *planting of annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees;      *installation of soil, lawn seed and sod;      *spreading of fertilizers and other soil amendments;  -Ability to manage a crew and worksite so it runs efficiently -Ability for safely operate a tractor, bobcat, and mini excavator. -Competence around the use of hand tools and small power tools (i.e. cut-off saws) EDUCATION/ TRAINING: -Completion of high school. -Work experience in landscape construction. -Additional landscape or construction courses are an asset. -First-aid and WHMIS  -Valid drivers license required.   Apply to :  Mail:     Murray's Horticultural Services               P.O.
