Back to Job Openings	Employment Opportunity:    Landscape Labourer DUTIES: Assist foreman with daily maintenance of truck and all equipment used including hand tools, tampers, sod cutter, and other light gasoline powered tools used in landscape construction.   Carry out a range of landscape construction activities (under supervision) including:    excavation and movement of soil -    grading and raking of aggregate and soils to establish grades    planting bed cultivation, weeding edging and mulching    planting of annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees    installation of soil, lawn seed and sod    watering of beds and containers    spreading of fertilizers and other soil amendments    planting of annuals, perennials trees and shrubs represent Murray's at the job site, ensure polite communication and safe property maintenance.   SKILLS: Knowledge and interest in gardening Competence around the use of hand tools and small motors Strong communication skills and initiative to carry out plans of work  Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work physically for extended period of time Work experience in landscape construction. Valid Driver's Licence   EDUCATION/TRAINING: High school Additional landscape or construction courses are an asset.
