Back to Job Openings	Employment Opportunity:    Stone / Brick Installer Start Date April, 2012   DUTIES: Performing all aspects of construction of stone and modular block elements: retaining walls,  walkways and pathways,  stairs,  site work (excavation using bobcat, tractor, excavator),  installation of granular bases,  sod and plant installation. Working with natural stone, modular blocks, and paving bricks. Assisting in estimating equipment, materials, and labour for jobs. Completing the Daily Worksheet of equipment, materials and labour used. SKILLS: Interpret and implement landscape plans. Prepare estimates. Ability to construct various hardscape landscape elements using natural stone, paving brick and modular block (retaining walls, pathways, steps, etc.). Ability to safely use cut-off saw, excavator, bobcat and tractor. Excellent record keeping and communication skills. The ability to work in a team environment. Ability to manage a crew and worksite so it runs efficiently EDUCATION/ TRAINING: 3 to 5 years relevant experience in landscape construction. Previous experience running and managing a crew.
